Google Sheets actions
Read and write selected spreadsheet ranges through shared, resource-scoped connections.
Use a test channel or sample conversation first. Confirm the visible result in ValueChat before applying the setup to production traffic.
How it works
- 01
Connect and select
Connect and select. Authorize Google Sheets and select the intended spreadsheets/resources. A Google sign-in to ValueChat alone is not this authorization.
- 02
Default actions
Default actions. List tabs, read bounded A1 ranges, find matching rows, append rows, update values, clear values and add a sheet/tab. Use exact spreadsheet IDs and ranges; preserve existing formulas and unrelated rows.
- 03
Advanced actions
Advanced actions. An explicit advanced setting adds whole-spreadsheet creation, row/column insertion or deletion, tab rename/duplicate/delete and exact-key update-or-append. Removing a tab is different from clearing cell contents.
- 04
Data behavior
Data behavior. RAW cell values are the default. Exact-key upsert rejects duplicate keys and uses a read followed by a write; it is not an atomic cross-user transaction or unrestricted batch-update endpoint.
- 05
Agent/workflow use
Agent/workflow use. Grant the selected resources/actions, map confirmed customer values and verify the resulting cells. A newly created resource can need an explicit grant before another restricted agent may use it.
What to verify
✓The expected channel, conversation, contact or execution is visible.
✓The assigned person or agent matches the routing rule.
✓No customer-facing message claims an action that failed.
✓Activity or execution history contains enough context to investigate.
Collect the workspace, channel, conversation and execution identifiers, then contact support@valuechat.app. Never send API keys or passwords.
