Integrations & API

Google Calendar actions

Check selected calendars and create, read, update or cancel events.

Before you start

Use a test channel or sample conversation first. Confirm the visible result in ValueChat before applying the setup to production traffic.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scope

Scope. Authorize Calendar and grant the calendars needed by the relevant agents or workflows. Access to one calendar does not imply access to every user calendar.

  2. 02

    Actions

Actions. List allowed calendars, check busy intervals, list/get events and create/update/cancel events with the supported fields.

  3. 03

    Time

Time. Supply ISO8601 date-times with offsets and the intended IANA time zone. Clarify ambiguous dates and time zones before booking.

  4. 04

    Invitations

Invitations. The send_updates option controls attendee notifications and defaults to none. Availability is a point-in-time read, not a reservation.

  5. 05

    Meeting links

Meeting links. Conference creation can return pending. Read the same event to learn the final link instead of creating another booking. A Meet space alone is not a Calendar appointment.

What to verify

✓The expected channel, conversation, contact or execution is visible.

✓The assigned person or agent matches the routing rule.

✓No customer-facing message claims an action that failed.

✓Activity or execution history contains enough context to investigate.
