Gmail actions
Search mail, handle drafts and send permitted email through an authorized mailbox.
Use a test channel or sample conversation first. Confirm the visible result in ValueChat before applying the setup to production traffic.
How it works
- 01
Authorization
Authorization. Connect Gmail separately from Google login or Calendar. Mailbox access follows the granted Gmail scope; use a dedicated mailbox when the agent should not access a personal inbox.
- 02
Read and draft
Read and draft. Search/read messages and threads; list/read/create/update/delete drafts; download supported attachments. These do not send an email until the send action is used.
- 03
Send and organize
Send and organize. Send/reply or send a draft; list/create labels and apply/remove them; mark read/unread, archive, trash or untrash. Replies retain the original thread and reply headers.
- 04
Side effects
Side effects. Sending notifies a real recipient; confirm the intended audience and required business policy. Draft deletion and message trash are distinct operations.
- 05
Limits
Limits. No permanent mailbox deletion or account-setting tool is provided. A timeout after dispatch can leave an uncertain send; check the thread rather than sending the same email again.
What to verify
✓The expected channel, conversation, contact or execution is visible.
✓The assigned person or agent matches the routing rule.
✓No customer-facing message claims an action that failed.
✓Activity or execution history contains enough context to investigate.
Collect the workspace, channel, conversation and execution identifiers, then contact support@valuechat.app. Never send API keys or passwords.
