Google Drive actions
Work with approved files and folders without granting unrestricted Drive access.
Use a test channel or sample conversation first. Confirm the visible result in ValueChat before applying the setup to production traffic.
How it works
- 01
Resources
Resources. Select allowed files/folders under the supported Google authorization. The connection/resource grants and provider permissions both constrain access.
- 02
Actions
Actions. List allowed or app-created resources, read metadata, create folders, upload, copy, rename, move, export, download and move items to recoverable trash.
- 03
Files
Files. Use the supported account-scoped attachment/artifact reference for uploads and returned files. An arbitrary URL or another account file is not an authorized attachment.
- 04
Moves and copies
Moves and copies. Check both source and destination permissions and use actual IDs. Creating a file does not automatically grant every restricted agent access to it.
- 05
Limits
Limits. The tool set does not offer public-sharing changes or permanent deletion. Trashing a file is a real external change and is different from disconnecting Google Drive.
What to verify
✓The expected channel, conversation, contact or execution is visible.
✓The assigned person or agent matches the routing rule.
✓No customer-facing message claims an action that failed.
✓Activity or execution history contains enough context to investigate.
Collect the workspace, channel, conversation and execution identifiers, then contact support@valuechat.app. Never send API keys or passwords.
